Amit Chakrabarti

Amit Chakrabarti is a Bridge Theorist with a particular interest in high level bidding systems development. He started playing bridge in high school with his father who was a national level player in India. Physics then took over his life and he took a 17 year hiatus from the game, resuming play a few years ago. A Gold Life Master with over 2700 MPs and 35 blue ribbon qualifications, he ranks as one of Unit 234's most accomplished players. Amit currently heads the Physics Department at Kansas State University.
